Apostille Services in Guatemala

What Our Apostille Service Includes

An apostille authenticates the origin of a Guatemalan public document for use in another country that is party to the Hague Apostille Convention. It certifies the authenticity of the signature, the capacity in which the person signed, and, where applicable, the seal or stamp on the document. It does not certify the document’s content.

We handle the apostille process for Guatemalan documents through Guatemala’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. When necessary, we can also arrange preliminary notarial services performed by a Guatemalan attorney and notary, such as notarized copies of Guatemalan identification cards (DPI) or passports.

Based on the document and the requested service, we will provide a quote detailing the cost, estimated processing time, and services included. Clients are responsible for confirming with the receiving institution which documents and services are required.
