At Traducción Jurada Guatemala, we believe in the importance of clear, accurate, and reliable communication. Our goal is to provide sworn translation, legal support, and professional guidance with personalized attention for clients in Guatemala and abroad.

My name is Yoly Rueda, M.A., and I am a certified sworn translator in Guatemala. I graduated from New York University (NYU) with a double major in History and Art History, and earned a Master’s degree in International Relations from Universidad Francisco Marroquín (UFM). I am currently pursuing a second Master’s degree in Education at the University of the People (UoPeople).

From an early age, I developed a deep passion for languages, communication, and cultural exchange. This passion led me to serve as a translator and interpreter during the United Nations MONUC peacekeeping mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo between 2008 and 2009, collaborating with Guatemalan peacekeeping forces and international teams. This experience strengthened my understanding of the importance of precise and professional communication in multicultural and official settings.

Over the years, my interest in communication expanded into the legal field and official document processes. Through my professional experience and close connection to the legal and notarial environment, I understand the importance of accuracy, confidentiality, and clarity in legal and notarial services.

In addition to Traducción Jurada Guatemala, I am the founder of Remote Study Academy, an online English academy focused on international communication, critical thinking, and personalized education. My academic and professional background has allowed me to work with people from different countries and cultural backgrounds while always prioritizing ethics, personalized attention, and professional excellence.
